They came from here in Page County,

And their music is very familiar.

Glenn Miller, Big Band man, was born in Clarinda

And lived here until he was four.

If you're in the mood, you can see the museum

And the house that has now been restored.

The Everly Brothers, both Don and Phil,

Grew up in nearby Shenandoah.

Little kids singin' with their mom and their dad

Got their start here on KMA radio.

Harmonizing in Knoxville and Nashville and Vegas

And on to the Rock Hall of Fame.

I can visit their home and imagine them young.

It's true. All I have to do is dream.
