Madison County, famous for bridges,
And for a baby named Marion.
Moved to LA, changed his name to John Wayne,
And died as a septuagenarian.
Eastwood and Meryl cavort on the farm.
Decided this wasn't the right time.
The Roseman Bridge was very romantic.
This certainty comes once in a lifetime.
At Pammel State Park, you can drive through the tunnel,
And then you can drive through the creek.
A few miles away, there's a historic outhouse.
Just for viewing. You can't take a leak.
The county seat, Winterset, has a town square
And a big, old courthouse with a dome.
The Iowa Theater's still showing movies
Near a museum that quilters call home.
